Rivals became team mates for the second award. Tharsus and Universal Wolf united as Tharsus Group to successfully challenge Aspire Technology Solutions and Transmission Dynamics for the prestigious title of Company of the Year.
There were delighted cheers when each result was announced and our Managing Director Patrick Macdonald picked up the first award, with our Chief Executive Brian Palmer collecting the second.
“We are working hard to transform our business following our rebrand, and have made significant progress during the past year.
“These awards are recognition of this progress, and endorsement of our vision to become nationally recognised as the most dynamic and trusted manufacturing partner of complex fabrications.
I’d like to thank each and every member of the team for the passion they show on a daily basis. Their commitment and dedication has made these awards possible, and I am sure everyone is very proud of what we’ve achieved together.”
Universal Wolf and Tharsus Group are now headed for the grand final at Hardwick Hall on the 16th May. They will face off against the winners of the Durham, Sunderland & South Tyneside awards and the Teesside Business awards, held on the 14th and 28th of March respectively, to be named the overall champions for 2019.
