Overview
Our team of skilled tradespeople are renowned for developing and manufacturing complex fabricated products. We work in some of the most demanding industry sectors, where quality and tolerance control of high-part products are vital. Through our fabrication and welding team, we adhere to strict quality standards on all complex metal fabrications, delivering high quality product that exceeds customer expectations.
Welding
Approved to the global ISO 9001:2015 standard, we have comprehensive specialist welding and fabrication facilities which allow us to work with a diverse range of customers in different industries. We specialise in welding low to medium gauge material, in mild steel up to 20mm, stainless steel up to 12mm, aluminium up to 15mm, and copper up to 8mm. Our configurable weld bays with precision MIG welding and TIG welding capability allow us to offer a flexible and agile welding resource to suit your product needs.
Our range of weld procedures are in accordance with BS EN ISO 15614-1 & BS EN ISO 15614-2, and our welders are qualified in accordance with EN 287 / 9606. Both are third party verified by Lloyds Register. We are able to offer full product traceability including material and manufacturing processes.
We’re renowned for our expertise in military, subsea and safety critical products, carrying out NDT (Non Destructive Testing) when required, enabling us to locate surface-breaking defects.
Fabrication
Where volumes have allowed, we have created dedicated manufacturing cells for customer products, ensuring resource is available to deliver product against customer production schedules.
Over the years, we’ve delivered some incredibly complex fabrications and design-build products for prestigious customers including BT, Rolls Royce, Rapiscan, 3M, and Siemens. We also regularly supply our sister company Tharsus.
In addition to our metal fabrication capabilities, we provide a range of high-quality services including design support, laser profiling and cutting, CNC punching, PEM insertion, bending, painting and assembly. As well as our in-house capabilities, through our supply chain we also manage ancillary components required for complex fabrications such as machined parts, formed pipe and tube, as well as subcontract services such as anodising, plating, e-coating and other specialist finishes.
Serial Production
We work with our customers to develop the manufacturing process including work instructions, standard operating procedures and developing and implementing jigs and fixtures, to ensure repeatable quality.
We work with a number of OEM brands who are leaders in their respective fields; providing a serial production service and manufacturing in line with customer schedules and delivery timescales.
Our ambition is to build long-term supply partnerships with our customers. In some instances, this means creating dedicated manufacturing cells for their products, which means we are able to tailor our service to suit their requirements and become a virtual extension of their business.
We believe in doing the right thing by the product, and continuously invest in our capabilities and equipment to make sure we can meet the needs of the project.
